Terms of sale and delivery

Below you will find useful information in connection with using online booking. You can read about, among other things, how we process your entered information, how you receive your receipt in connection with a purchase and much more. When Rosenvold Strand Camping is written below, it is used as a synonym for Rosenvold Strand Camping.

Payment

All prices stated in Rosenvold Strand Camping's online booking system, as elsewhere on the website, are stated in Danish kroner including VAT and all taxes unless otherwise stated and clearly stated in the situation in question. The prices stated in EURO are indicative.

Payment is made using one of the approved debit/credit cards in online booking, including Dankort, Visa, Mastercard and Diners. The amount will be deducted from your account the moment you have booked and paid.

Information about online trading

You can safely shop online through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are basically protected against any misuse of your credit card online, so there is no deductible for misuse of your payment card via the internet. You can read more about how you as a consumer should deal with payments online on the following websites: www.betaling.dk, www.fdih.dk.

Choice of Place

It is possible to choose your seat during the booking process. During peak season we reserve the right to move the selected seat to another seat number in the same category.

Changing booking

To change your booking, please contact the Campsite.

Various discount schemes

It is not possible to book any types of discount schemes online. If you are a member of a discount-giving organization, this will not be deducted from the amount paid when settling the final bill after your stay. Therefore, do not book online if you want to obtain a discount.

Shipping and delivery

When booking and paying for a cabin, a rental tent, a place for your own tent, or a place for your own caravan, you will be presented with a booking confirmation/contract from Rosenvold Strand Camping, which includes the account for your purchase. The contract can be printed from the website after booking has been completed, and is also sent via email immediately after purchase, if the correct email address is provided by the buyer.

Delivery of the ordered product takes place upon arrival at Rosenvold Strand Camping on the day of arrival (and ends upon departure on the day of departure). Both of these times are stated in the above-mentioned contract. The ordered product cannot be transferred to others or exchanged for cash.

Right of withdrawal and refund

You have the option to cancel your booking under the following conditions:

Camping:

If cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, the entire package price will be refunded, however, a cancellation fee of DKK 300.00 will be deducted. If cancelled between 30 days and 14 days before arrival, 50% of the price of the stay will be refunded. However, the cancellation fee of DKK 300.00 will not be refunded. If cancelled less than 14 days before arrival, no refund will be made.

Once you have started your holiday/stay with us, the booked period is binding and cannot be transferred to others. Shortened holiday and/or stay will not be refunded. Ask about the possibility of moving to another time in the same calendar year.

You have the option to cancel your booking under the following conditions:

Rental units:

If cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, the entire package price will be refunded, however, a cancellation fee of DKK 500.00 will be deducted.

If cancelled less than 30 days before arrival, no refund will be made.

Once you have started your holiday with us, the booked period is binding and cannot be transferred to others. Shortened holiday and/or stay will not be refunded.

Cancellation insurance:

The following applies to cancellation insurance:

• The insurance covers the part of the rental price excluding insurance premiums that Rosenvold Strand Camping does not refund upon cancellation of the rental, in cases where the insured's stay in the rented property is made impossible or significantly difficult:
  
  
  
  • as a result of the insured or his/her: spouse, cohabitant, children, parents, parents-in-law, children-in-law, grandchildren, siblings, grandparents, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law or travel companions dying, or being struck by acute illness or serious injury that requires hospitalization, medically prescribed bed rest or something equivalent.
  
  
  
  

Acute illness:

An acute, eligible illness is understood to mean a newly occurring illness or a justified suspicion of a newly occurring serious illness.

2. because immediately before the holiday stay, significant damage has occurred due to fire or burglary in the insured's private home or fire, burglary or work stoppage in violation of the collective agreement in the insured's own company.

Special conditions:

It is a condition of the insurance coverage that Rosenvold Strand Camping receives proof of the insured event, i.e. a medical certificate, death certificate or police report.

Insurance period:

The insurance covers from the date of subscription until 12:00 noon the day before the agreed arrival at Rosenvold Strand Camping.

The fee for issuing a medical certificate must be paid by you.

In the event of injury, confirmation from the hospital or treating physician is required. In the event of death, a copy of the front page of the death certificate is submitted. In the event of burglary or fire, a copy of the police report is submitted. Additional documentation may be required.

How do you cancel?

It is a condition for obtaining a refund that the cancellation has been notified to Rosenvold Strand Camping no later than 12:00 the day before the day of arrival. In all cases, the tenant must immediately notify Rosenvold Strand Camping and return the booking confirmation/rental certificate, possibly together with documentation in accordance with the above.

Paid insurance premiums are not refunded.

When did you cancel?

The cancellation is considered to have been made on the day/time Rosenvold Strand Camping has received written notification of this.

Registration of information

Rosenvold Strand Camping registers your name, address, email and other information provided in connection with the purchase in its customer database. The information is not disclosed, but Rosenvold Strand Camping retains the registration for 5 years.

Rosenvold Strand Camping uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to ensure the security of the information you provide on the site.

When paying by credit card, registration takes place via a secure server where the information is encrypted before being sent over the internet.

Rosenvold Strand Camping reserves the right to make price errors in online bookings, so the prices stated on the website always apply.

Complaints handling

If for some reason you do not receive your contract confirming your purchase, and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the address or telephone number below.

Complaints about the booking process, the booking itself or the product (stay) must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered the error by normal review of your contract. You can complain in writing or orally. One year after receipt of the goods (stay), the right to complain ceases in accordance with Section 83, subsection 1 of the Danish Sales Act, unless otherwise agreed.

When Rosenvold Strand Camping receives your complaint about a product, the complaint will be processed as soon as possible. Rosenvold Strand Camping will decide whether the received product should be refunded/exchanged or whether a price reduction should be given.

Force majeure

Neither party is liable for a breach caused by circumstances that the parties should not have anticipated when entering into the agreement, including strikes, lockouts, epidemics/pandemics or other circumstances that are considered force majeure under Danish law.

NOTE:

Rosenvold Strand Camping makes reservations for possible printing errors, unforeseen events, errors in booking systems, etc.
